The Lamokhang Temple is located on the topmost floor of the 15th-century Thiksey Monastery in Ladakh, India Situated at an altitude of approximately 3,600 meters, it serves as a storehouse for ancient Tibetan Buddhist scriptures and functions as the official residence for the monastery’s incarnate lama.
